Family Friendly Bliss Ball Recipes with Essential Oils

Young Living Essential oils Perth, Jaffa bliss balls, dark chocolate and orange.

Now let’s be frank here, I am by no means a nutritionist and our diet can swing wildly between clean eating and birthday cake all in one day. Heck, sometimes my children live off hot chips and thin air but every now and again I have a little mum win and when I do, I want to share it here starting with our family favourite, bliss balls.

These bad boys can be all types of flavour combinations, let your creativity run wild. Choc full of healthy fats via the nuts and coconut, they are perfect for fussy little eaters. You can always swap out the chocolate chips for Sultanas or dried cranberries for a slightly healthier treat or use your choice of natural sweetener like honey or rice malt syrup if preferred.

Get the kiddies in the kitchen, prepare for some fun (and mess!) and whip them up, I promise you won't be disappointed. Here are a few of my favourite combinations.

Base Recipe

1x Cup Cashews OR Macadamias

1x Cup Desiccated coconut

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup

½ tsp Vanilla paste

1x pinch of quality salt

Method

Place all of the ingredients into your thermomix, food processor or high powered blender in the order that they are listed. At this stage you can add your different flavour combinations. Pulse to combine all ingredients ensuring that your are checking regularly so that you don’t end up with nut butter! You want to blend until the mixtures comes together and sticks when you roll it in to a ball.

Flavour Combinations

All of the above combinations can be adjusted to taste. Start by using the number of drops listed in the recipe, taste and add more Essential Oil if you want a more robust flavour. The Orange and Dark chocolate is my absolute favourite closely followed by the strawberry and dark chocolate combination !
